Nordjylland — the Marguerite Route through North Jutland

At Skagen the Marguerite Route reaches the very tip of Denmark, where the Skagerrak and Kattegat collide at Grenen and a church tower stands marooned in migrating dunes. The stretch crosses the Limfjord at Aalborg — with its Viking burial ground at Lindholm Høje — and threads past Mariager, the 'rose town', on one of the route's most dramatic coastal runs.

The Marguerite Route is Denmark’s 4,203 km signed scenic byway, marked by the brown daisy sign and divided into 8 regional sections. The full route is shown faintly on the map below for context.
