Møn, Lolland og Falster — the Marguerite Route through Denmark's southern islands

The white chalk cliffs of Møns Klint are the showpiece here, rising above beech woods and one of Europe's first dark-sky reserves. Westward the Marguerite Route crosses flat, farmed Lolland and Falster — quiet, big-sky country — past Knuthenborg's safari park and the long Baltic beaches at Marielyst. It is the route's calmest, most rural stretch.

The Marguerite Route is Denmark’s 4,203 km signed scenic byway, marked by the brown daisy sign and divided into 8 regional sections. The full route is shown faintly on the map below for context.
