Fyn og Øhavet — the Marguerite Route through Funen and the archipelago

Funen is Denmark's garden — orchard country circling Hans Christian Andersen's Odense and the moated, fairy-tale Egeskov Castle. South of Svendborg the Marguerite Route reaches the Øhavet, the gentle South Funen archipelago of Tåsinge, Langeland and Ærø, where ferries, sea views and cobbled harbour towns slow the drive to island pace.

The Marguerite Route is Denmark’s 4,203 km signed scenic byway, marked by the brown daisy sign and divided into 8 regional sections. The full route is shown faintly on the map below for context.
